Welcome to our website of Mauja Bijayapur Samaj (MBS) UK. Mauja Bijayapur Samaj UK is a Samaj (community) of Nepalese who originally came to the UK from former Mauja VDC and Bijayapur (panch-thar gaun) of Kaski district, Nepal and are currently residing in the UK. The Samaj was established on 26 January 2008 with an aim to help each other out in times of genuine hardship and distress and preserve our cultural heritages over in the UK. The Samaj primarily aims to maintain a link within its members and cheli-beties in the UK and with our ancestral homes back in Nepal. The Samaj also aims to support our village communities in Nepal on the basis of members’ approval as it finds necessary.
All the members of the samaj are originally from the following 9 Villages (gauns) of Kaski district, Nepal: 1. Khamgale Gaun, 2. Danda Gaun, 3. Pokhari Gaun, 4. Dihi Gaun, 5. Lamdanda Gaun, 6. Mauja Gaun, 7. Mohoriya Gaun, 8. Atighar/Manchhap and 9. Kura Gaun. These villages are situated north-east of Pokhara and one can reach there from Pokhara within 2/3 hours by walking and 30 to 50 minutes by driving.

Date: Saturday, 21st August 2027
Time: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Venue: Alderwood Leisure Centre, Connaught School, Aldershot, GU12 4AS
Detailed administrative instructions will be published in due course. In the meantime, please mark the date in your calendar and keep it free so that you can join us and enjoy our 18th Annual Get-Together.

Dear Chairman, Advisors, Executive committee members, members and distinguished guests- our Chelibeti family,

Hope you all enjoyed our annual summer get-together yesterday.
Thank you all for your collective efforts in organising the 17th Mauja Bijaypur Samaj UK Summer get-together. A great deal of appreciation goes to all village representatives and some local members, who put a great deal of effort from their heart to make the event successful. If I name them, there is always a possibility of forgetting some as there are so many helping hands.
Also, thank you to all of the generous sponsors for the raffle draw. You have been helping us every year. A sum of £520 is helped to raise for Charity as agreed in previous AGM for running early cancer diagnosis camp for Mauja Bijayapur Gaun haru back at our home in Nepal. I am sorry that we have let down all sponsors for not being able to present their sponsored items on the stage due to everyone rushing to return home. Therefore, we have to speed up to conclude the program. Without your generous help and support it wouldn’t have been possible and once again thank you!
The entertainment begins with a dance performed by our two little nanuharu, Prisha and Krisha. They both look absolutely beautiful in our traditional outfit and they are the future of our MBS UK. Then, dance performed by Shiva Das Gurung and song by Sony Kunwar were another highlight of the day.
Thank you Daiharu from Bijayapur Gaun for capturing event of the day, who will be publishing in social media. Also, thank you to our media secretary, Purna Dai who came in first and out in the last, putting his best efforts in capturing all those beautiful moments of 17th Mauja Bijayapur Samaj UK.
Most importantly, thank you to each and everyone of you including all guests from Nepal and USA, all Cheli Betti families who managed to attend despite their busy schedules, as well as a thank you to all members who made a contribution despite their absences.
There is always next time for those who couldn’t make it this time. Please make every effort to attend future events – we look forward to seeing you in 2027! Once the date and venue are confirmed in our next meeting, we will inform you through this means.

Yesterday was a very successful and such a wonderful day! It was a fantastic opportunity to meet everyone from the Mauja Bijayapur area currently based in the UK. I am sure we all thoroughly enjoyed the day.
A big thanks to Party Coordinator Indra Kumar, Chairman Dambar Solti, Secretary Jiwan bhai, and everyone involved in making it happen. Without your hard work, it wouldn’t have been possible.

Thank you, Indra(Party Co-ordinator) and Tanka solti for the positive feed backs. As Tanka solti mentioned, Indra, You again did an amazing job as always. Thank you to our samaj’s backbone secretary Jiwan Gurung.
I personally would say, the party was successful and I hope everyone in the hall including our guests -Cheli betis and Jwai-Rajas enjoyed the performances of 2 little Angels Prisha र Crisha, Sony Kunwar and Shivadas Gurung(Om, thank you for co-ordinating).
Thanks goes to Purna our media secretary for photos and videos as always and other videograhpers Ram dai n Khem dai.
